MacBook & iMac repair in South Bend

Your Mac doesn’t have to go to the mall or get mailed off for weeks. We repair MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and iMac right here in South Bend, both Intel and Apple-silicon models.

The diagnostic is $60 and it comes off the repair. We’ll tell you in plain words what’s wrong and what it costs before any work starts, and if a repair doesn’t make sense for your Mac’s age, we’ll say so and help you move everything to what comes next.

We’re an independent shop, not an Apple Store, which usually means a faster turnaround and an honest second opinion when you’ve been told the only answer is a new machine.

Or just walk in during business hours, no appointment needed.

Mac problems we fix

  • Cracked, black, or flickering MacBook screens
  • Batteries that say “Service Recommended” or die in an hour
  • Sticky, repeating, or dead keyboard keys and trackpads
  • Coffee, water, and juice spills - cleaned and repaired at the board
  • Macs that won’t turn on, won’t charge, or get stuck on the Apple logo
  • Slow Macs - storage clean-up, macOS reinstall, and SSD upgrades on models that take one
  • Files and photos rescued from Macs that won’t start

A lot of “it’s cheaper to buy a new one” Macs are a battery, a screen, or a spill clean-up away from years more use. We’ll tell you honestly which side of that line yours is on before you spend a dollar.

Common questions

Common macbook & imac repair questions

Are you an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider?

No, we're an independent repair shop. That usually means a faster turnaround and a real conversation about whether a repair is worth it, instead of a one-size-fits-all answer. If your Mac is still under AppleCare and the repair is covered, we'll tell you so you can use it.

Will I lose my files when you repair my Mac?

On most repairs, such as a battery, screen, or keyboard, your files never leave the machine and come through untouched. Newer Macs keep their storage soldered to the board, so if the board itself has failed, getting files back depends on repairing it, which we do in-house. If your photos and documents matter, tell us up front and we'll back them up first wherever it's possible.

My MacBook got wet. What should I do?

Turn it off, unplug it, and don't try to charge it or turn it back on to check. Bring it in as soon as you can. Liquid keeps causing corrosion on the board the longer it sits, and the sooner it's opened up and cleaned, the better the odds.

Is my old Mac worth fixing?

Often, yes. A battery or screen can give a Mac years more use for a fraction of a new one. But if it's too old for current macOS or the repair costs more than it's worth, we'll tell you plainly and help move your files to whatever comes next.

Whatever broke, we’ve probably seen it. Let’s take a look.

Our flat prices are posted on the pricing page. The one thing we never guess at is the repair itself: we look first ($60, credited to your repair), then you get a real number before any work starts. Walk in, book a time, or text us a photo of what’s wrong. Look for the black door with our logo on it, straight ahead when you pull in, up the steps; knock if it’s locked, we’re here.
