For South Bend businesses · free · about 30 minutes
Is your business one bad click from a very bad week?
We check the 15 things that actually sink small businesses - backups that were never tested, email without two-step sign-in, the ex-employee who still has a password - and hand you a plain-English scorecard. Measured, not guessed. No obligation, and if everything looks good we will tell you that too.

The 15 points
Exactly what we check. Nothing mysterious.
Every point gets a plain pass or warn on your scorecard - the same way we print health reports for the computers on our bench.
Accounts & access
- Two-step sign-in (MFA) on email and banking
- Who actually has admin rights - and should they
- Departed employees fully locked out
- Password habits: reuse, sharing, sticky notes
- Email security - what a fake invoice would look like here
Your machines
- Antivirus actually on and current - on every computer
- Windows security updates landing, not snoozed
- Hard drive health - the early warning signs, measured
- Laptops encrypted, so a stolen bag is not a breach
- What launches at startup that should not
Could you survive a bad day?
- A backup exists - of the right things
- The backup has been TESTED with a real restore
- Backups separated from the network ransomware would hit
- Router and Wi-Fi: default passwords, old firmware, guest access
- A written who-to-call plan for the morning something breaks

Fair questions
What does it cost, really?
Nothing. It takes us about 30 minutes, and it is how we earn business: some checks find nothing much, and we say so and shake hands. The ones that find something get a plain-English fix list you can act on with us or without us.
Is this a sales pitch in disguise?
It is a measurement. You get a one-page scorecard - pass and warn marks on all 15 points, in plain English, with the three things to fix first. If you want help fixing them we will quote it plainly; if you fix them yourself, the scorecard was still free.
Do you need to install anything?
No. We look, we measure, we write it down. Nothing gets installed unless you later ask us to manage something for you.
How disruptive is it?
About 30 minutes, and nobody has to stop working. We can come by, or start with a phone call and a remote look at one or two machines.
