My ASUS gaming laptop shuts off or slows down when I play. What is wrong?

It depends on the exact model and panel, so a number here would be a guess. For the flat $60 we confirm what the machine needs and quote it before anything is ordered, with the $60 already credited. Repairs carry a 30-day warranty on parts and labor.
Do you keep ASUS parts in stock?

Will I lose my files or my game saves?
Most repairs, like a screen, a port, a battery or a keyboard, never touch your files. If the drive is the problem, or the machine is dead and the files are the real worry, say so at the counter and saving them becomes the first job. If you still can, back up before you bring it in.
What if my ASUS is still under warranty?
Check with ASUS first: warranty work goes through them, not us, and we are not connected to ASUS in any way. Once it is out of warranty, or when you would rather have a local person look at it this week, bring it in. Your answer comes within 5 business days, and most repairs are done one to two days after you approve them.
