Will I lose my files?
Most repairs, like a screen, a port, a battery or a keyboard, never touch your files. If the drive is the problem, or the machine is dead and the files are the real worry, say so at the counter and saving them becomes the first job. If you still can, back up before you bring it in.
What if my Lenovo is still under warranty?
Check with Lenovo first: warranty work goes through them, not us, and we are not connected to Lenovo in any way. Once it is out of warranty, or when you would rather have a local person look at it this week, bring it in. Your answer comes within 5 business days, and most repairs are done one to two days after you approve them.
