Can’t come in? We can connect remotely.
Plenty of computer problems don’t need a trip to the shop at all. Give us a call and we can connect remotely to clean up viruses, sort out a slowdown, set up email or a printer, and fix all kinds of everyday software trouble — without you leaving home.
You start the secure connection and watch every step. We never ask for passwords or banking, and you can end it anytime.
What we can usually do remotely

When you’ll need to come in
Some things need hands on the device.
We’ll always be straight about which is which.
Remote help is great for software, but anything physical needs the device in front of us. We can’t fix these over a connection:
- Cracked screens, batteries, and charging ports
- A computer that won’t turn on at all
- Hardware swaps like SSDs and memory
- Data recovery from a failed drive
If it turns out to be one of these, just bring it in — walk-ins are welcome Mon–Fri, 9:00–5:30.
Common questions
Remote support questions
Is it safe to let you connect to my computer?
Yes, and you stay in control the whole time. Any connection uses Windows’ own built-in Quick Assist — there’s nothing to download. You start it, you watch every step on your own screen, and you can end it anytime. We never ask for passwords or banking information.
How much does remote support cost?
It’s the same honest deal as in the shop — we’ll tell you the price before we start any work, and you decide with no pressure. Some quick questions we can answer on the spot. We don’t quote a repair blind, so for anything involved we’ll take a look first and give you a real number.
What if you can’t fix it remotely?
Some problems are physical — a cracked screen, a dead battery, a drive that’s failing — and those need hands on the device. If we get connected and find it’s one of those, we’ll tell you straight, and you can bring it into the shop. You won’t pay for a remote fix that couldn’t happen.
I’m not very techy — is this going to be complicated?
Not at all. We’ll stay on the phone and walk you through opening Quick Assist one step at a time — it’s a couple of clicks. If you’d rather not do it over the phone, you’re always welcome to just bring the computer in instead.
Give us a call — we’ll connect and take a look.
We don’t price repairs over the phone — we look first, so the number’s real. The $60 to look comes right off your repair, and walk-ins are always welcome. Look for the blue door with the stairs on the left side of the parking lot — knock if it’s locked, we’re here.
