Gaming PC repair & upgrades

Crashing mid-match, frames dropping where they used to be smooth, fans screaming, or the rig won’t boot at all? Bring it in. We build gaming PCs here, so we also fix them — properly, with the same parts-and-testing standards we build with.

We work on prebuilts and custom rigs alike, and we’ll tell you straight whether the fix is a $40 part, a cleaning, or something bigger — before any work starts.

Gaming rig problems we fix

  • Crashes, freezes, and blue screens mid-game
  • Overheating — deep cleaning and fresh thermal paste
  • FPS drops and stutter that crept in over time
  • GPU upgrades and swaps (including prebuilts)
  • Power supply problems and random shutdowns
  • Won’t turn on / won’t POST diagnostics

Thinking about upgrading instead of fixing? We’ll tell you honestly which one your rig deserves — and if it’s time for a fresh build, we hand-build and stress-test those right here.

What to expect

Here's how it goes.

Bring the rig in and we'll put it on the bench, reproduce the problem under load — not just at an idle desktop — and track down the real cause for the flat $60, credited to the repair. We build gaming PCs here, so crashes, thermals, power, and upgrade questions are home turf. You get a straight answer on whether it's a part, a cleaning, or a bigger decision, with the real price before any work starts. Most fixes are back in your hands in a day or two.

Common questions

Common gaming pc repair questions

My PC crashes or freezes mid-game but works fine otherwise — what gives?

That pattern usually means something only fails under load: overheating once the GPU spools up, a power supply that sags when the system pulls hard, unstable memory, or a driver problem. Bench-testing under load is how we tell them apart — guessing gets expensive when the parts involved are this pricey. The $60 diagnostic pins it down, and it comes off the repair.

My FPS got worse over time — can that actually be fixed?

Very often, yes. Rigs slow down for physical reasons: dust chokes the coolers, thermal paste dries out, and the system quietly throttles itself to survive. Sometimes it's software rot or a failing drive instead. A deep clean and repaste brings a lot of machines back to the frames they had on day one — and we'll tell you honestly if yours is a case where the hardware is just showing its age.

Can you put a better graphics card in my prebuilt?

Usually — but prebuilts have gotchas, and checking them first is the whole game: power supplies with no headroom, cases too tight for modern cards, and occasionally a proprietary board. We'll confirm what your machine can actually take, quote the swap before ordering anything, and test it under load before you pick it up. Bring the model or just bring the tower.

Should I fix my current rig or put the money toward a new build?

We do both here, so you'll get the honest math instead of a sales pitch. A cooling fix or one smart upgrade can buy years; pouring money into an old platform sometimes can't. We'll tell you which side of the line your machine is on — and if a fresh build wins, we hand-build and stress-test those in the same shop, built around your budget and games.

Do you work on water-cooled or RGB builds?

Yes — closed-loop (AIO) coolers, air towers, and the usual RGB ecosystems are all normal work for us. Custom open-loop plumbing we'll evaluate case by case and tell you upfront if it's something we can take on. Either way, the process is the same: $60 to diagnose it properly, credited to the repair, honest price before we start.

Whatever broke, we’ve probably seen it. Let’s take a look.

We don’t price repairs over the phone — we look first, so the number’s real. The $60 to look comes right off your repair, and walk-ins are always welcome. Look for the blue door with the stairs on the left side of the parking lot — knock if it’s locked, we’re here.
